**Scientist - Nucleic Acids Vaccines (In Process Analytics) - mRNA drug substance**:
**Job purpose**:
You will play a significant role in shaping current and next generation GSK’s leading mRNA vaccine platforms to accelerate addressing unmet medical needs, an exciting field having a direct impact into patients and global health.

**In this role, you will...**
- Work within a global team, proactively collaborate transversally with Analytical R&D in an agile and open way ensuring good communication and alignment.
- Key contributor to establishing in process analytical methods in the context of mRNA drug substance
- Prioritize the development of high-throughput, sequencing-based analytical methods
- Contribute to building the mRNA platform documentation and workflows, and integration within the upstream and downstream subteams within the global platform

- Basic Qualifications:_
- We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:_
- PhD in bio-engineering, biochemistry, biotechnology, chemistry or equivalent or a Master in bio-engineering, biochemistry, biotechnology, chemistry or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience mRNA-based vaccines or therapeutics.
- Demonstrated experience with a broad range of high-throughput sequencing-based methods in assessing critical quality attributes of mRNA drug substance
- Excel at complex problem solving through critical thinking using knowledge gained through formal education, experience, and sound judgment.
- English fluency is mandatory, French is a plus
- Preferred Qualifications:_
- If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:_
- Experience with Quality by Design and development of process for manufacturing of large biomolecules, specifically large size mRNA.
- Experience with bioinformatics methods and use of the R programming language for statistical computing and data visualization.
- Experience and understanding of nucleic acid analytical technologies.
