**Context**:
Within our CFO division, we are looking to reinforce our Accounts Payable department with a talented Accounts Payable Accountant.
The mission of the Accounts Payable team is to provide the highest level of customer service to all external and internal customers, to process invoices and expense notes in a timely and accurate manner, to perform and document the relevant controls, to ensure compliance with policies and appropriate laws, and to deliver reliable analytics on costs.

**Your Position**:

- Assemble, review and verify invoices and check requests;
- Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices;
- Charging expenses to accounts and cost centers;
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments;
- Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records;
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions with the core banking system;
- Prepare analysis of the monthly, quarterly and yearly variances in the Accounts Payable scope;
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues;
- Communicate with suppliers and respond to inquiries;
- Pro-active follow-up with budget holder and signing authorities;
- Follow-up on monthly accruals;
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing.

**Your Profile**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting,finance or related;
- Good communication skills;
- Team-player;
- Superb time management skills and keen attention to detail;
- Problem solver and good analytical skills;
- IT-minded and advanced Excel-skills.
