Supplier Accountant

For our client, an organization clearly committed to the energy transition with ambitious investment programs, we are looking for a Supplier Accountant for the Accounting Department at its Brussels headquarters.
**Description**
- Your main task is to process purchase invoices (Belgian and foreign) up to the point of payment;
- You check that the legal information on the invoice is correct;
- You code the VAT on the invoice document;
- You reconcile invoices and orders;
- Record accounting documents in SAP software (FI or MM module);
- You make payments on invoices;
- You process payment reminders;
- You follow the approval process and resolve complications for unapproved invoices;
- You mainly monitor supplier accounts and act as the point of contact for suppliers in consultation with other internal departments;
- You reconcile open accounts;
- You prepare Intrastat declarations;
- You participate actively in the monthly closing;
- You will follow the process of recording invoices to be received;
- You will participate in improving processes and controls.
- Follow-up of ongoing projects at Accounts Payable.
**Profile**
- You have a bachelor's degree (A1) in accounting;
- You have at least 3 years' work experience in the relevant field, ideally in an industrial environment;
- Knowledge of accounting and VAT principles is essential;
- You can work both in a team and independently;
- You are a problem-solver;
- You are highly customer and results-oriented;
- You are punctual, communicative and have good stress management skills;
- You are flexible;
- You have a professional attitude and strive to achieve your goals;
- You are fluent in French and/or Dutch and have a good knowledge of
knowledge of English;
- Clear and effective oral and written communication is one of your strengths.

- Knowledge of SAP is required.
