Description
Our client is currently looking for a Senior Accountant (M/F/x) to support their growth. Our client is an Italian multinational manufacturer and distributor of consumer goods. You will be responsible for overseeing all accounting aspects of the business, reporting to the Group CFO.
**Main tasks**
As the CFO's right-hand man and working closely with the team's two accountants, your responsibilities will include
- Extensive experience in accounting and capable of doing this for two countries : Belgium and Netherlands
- Accounting Bookings: the role requires performing specific accounting entries, including accruals, adjustments, and prepayments, to maintain accurate financial records.
- Consolidation Package Preparation: experience in preparing consolidation packages for statutory purposes is essential, requiring collaboration with various departments.
- Audit Preparations: the individual should coordinate audit activities, ensuring that all financial documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Salaries Management: should oversee the entire payroll process, including calculations, deductions, and timely payments, while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Team Supervision: the senior accountant will supervise two bookkeepers/administrative staff, guiding their work to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Experience in Navision (version 2009)
**Profile**
- Degree in accounting
- Proven experience as medior or senior accountant
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in Dutch and English, French is a nice to have
- Experience in Navision (version 2009)
