Job description

**De rol van finance als business partner **
- Met jouw kritische blik en financiële kennis til je samen met het Finance team de afdeling naar ‘the next level’. Als business partner zet je financiële kennis en ervaring in als gespreks
- en sparringspartner enerzijds terwijl je de operationele financiële werkzaamheden beheert anderzijds.
- A-Z boekhouding, met focus op beheer en controle over de verschillende flows.
- Zorgen voor een continue en correcte presentatie van de financiële gegevens (balans en resultatenrekening)
- Het opstellen van periodieke aangiftes (BTW, Intrastat,)
- Voorbereiden en coördineren van de periodieke financiële rapportage, consolidatie en de jaarafsluit
- Actief meedenken bij het oplossen van business-vragen en suggesties voor verbetering en alternatieven aanbrengen.
- Je werkt inhoudelijk mee aan projecten en procesoptimalisaties.
- Maandelijks en ad hoc analyses over de gang van zaken, die je vertaalt in overzichtelijke en doelgerichte rapporten.
- Het garanderen van een kwalitatieve en integere financiële bedrijfsvoering in nauwe samenwerking met de operationele verantwoordelijke
- Beheren en optimaliseren van interne procedures

**Waar kom je te werken**
- Het Belgische finance team bestaat uit 10 mensen verspreid over verschillende locaties. Het grootste deel van jouw werktijd zal je gevestigd zijn in de vestiging van Laakdal waar je nauw zal samenwerken met de collega’s uit de operationele teams.

**Profile**:

- Je beschikt over een Bachelor
- of Masteropleiding in Accountancy of Finance.
- Je brengt 2 tot 3 jaar ervaring in accounting of controlling mee, pluspunt audit of consulting. Heb je meer ervaring? Ook dan kom je zeker in aanmerking
- Je hebt voldoende people skills om het management te challengen in hun dagelijkse werking.
- Ondernemend, zelfsturend, nuchter, proffessioneel, maar durft ook al wel eens een grap te maken? Dan pas je binnen ons team.
- Je werkt vlot met Excel en laat je niet afschrikken door verdere digitalisatie en nieuwe software.
- Je bent een uitstekende communicator in het Nederlands en in het Engels.
