**What will be your responsibilities?**:
**Goals of the job**
**The Product Support Technology Representative will focus in the following**:
- Primary goal is revenue generation, taking care of the whole commercial process, with support from marketing and the solutions experts.
- Secondary goal is coordination / project management of signed deals, with the customer success team.
- Third goal is to manage the clients over time, with the support of the customer success team.
**Scope of the job**:
- Geography: Africa.
- Sector: Construction (primarily)
- Target market: construction companies and construction projects.
- Target clients: management and operational teams in charge of projects, production, operations, fleet and equipments, continuous improvement, data and analytics.
- Can be based in Africa (e.g. Ivory Coast, Senegal) or Belgium.
**Objectives, measurement, KPIs**:
- Provide the entire range of SmartFleet solutions, to construction sites and companies (International, Regional, National accounts) across Africa.
- Maximise revenue and business growth, with an optimised margin.
**Who are we looking for?**:
**Profile and education**
A construction, technical, digital and sales expert who brings:
- Degree in Engineering/Technology/Marketing or equivalent by experience.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience (including in management and senior roles) working for or working with construction sites and construction companies, either internally or as a supplier, preferably on both production and operations sides of the construction business.
- Understanding of fleet/mobile assets/equipment use, digital transformation and digitalisation of fleet and jobsites along with good understanding of data, software.
- Understanding of both production/productivity challenges, operational and maintenance costs, security and environmental challenges with deep knowledge of the solutions sold.
- Technical as much as commercial acumen: demonstrated sales and marketing skills.
- Ability to understand clients challenges, to make them express their feedback, to propose constructive solutions, to demonstrate the benefits of digitalisation, and demo products, to negotiate and close deals, and execute on them to ensure clients success.
- Technical and maintenance knowledge on construction and mining machines would be an advantage.
- Great interpersonal, listening, analytics and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel (up to 50%).
- Preferably a knowledge of the competitive environment for digital, data, software solutions (products, customers, markets and competitors) in the construction vertical.
- Network: A portfolio of senior contacts, both local and global.
- Fluent in both French and English.
