**The Business**
**Your opportunity**
Responsibility for newly acquired companies, including providing critical input to the investment case in pre-acquisition phase, overseeing the design and execution of Value Creation and Integration Plans, supervising overall business growth and being accountable for overall performance.
**Responsibilities**
Validate and sign-off new M&A investments:
- Oversee and validate commercial DD, value creation and integration plans.
- Run, supported by a team of specialists, in-depth analysis of target companies’ data to derive financial and commercial assumptions to be used for the overall business case of the acquisition.
- Sign-off investment thesis, business case and underlying value drivers, value creation and integration plan before presentation to M&A board.
Post Merger Integration facilitation:
- Represent team.blue commercial function for target management and broader team during integration process, supported by PMI team.
Strategic leadership:
- Represent team.blue commercial function post integration, leading the acquired business management team into the execution of their business plan by constantly ensuring alignment with the business case assumptions (proactively managing any deviations).
- Be able to lead these businesses with a variable degree of detail, adapted to the level of maturity and empowerment of the management team and the current situation of the business.
Business results responsibility:
- Monitor execution of value creation and integration plans (with support from the dedicated integration team) and report to team.bue board of directors on the growth and status of the acquired businesses.
- Be overall accountable in front of team.blue shareholders and board of directors of the overall performance of acquired businesses.
Advisory and coaching:
- Advise and coach the CEO and/or management team of the acquired companies to grow professionally and progressively become more independent and more integrated into team.blue.
- Manage senior leadership succession of adjacent businesses when relevant.
Long term business unity and growth:
- Embody team.blue vision, mission and values for the acquired company staff and enable full integration into team.blue and long-term growth.
**Skills and experience**
- University degree.
- Operational P&L responsibility as business unit lead / GM / Director.
- Experience of data-driven businesses with clear focus on results delivery.
- Preferred experience of team.blue business lines and related drivers.
- Preferred experience in management or strategy consulting / investment banking / private equity.
