In 2024 wordt bij **het Federaal Instituut voor Duurzame Ontwikkeling** (FIDO) een nieuwe kenniscel aangaande **Critical Raw Materials (CRM)** opgericht. De nieuwe kenniscel heeft tot doel kennis op te bouwen aangaande grondstoffengebruik en -afhankelijkheid en de ecologische en sociale impact daarvan, met een focus op kritieke en strategische grondstoffen; beleidsaanbevelingen en strategische advies te formuleren; samenwerking te stimuleren met de verschillende stakeholders (binnen en buiten België) en kennis hierover te verspreiden.

Wil jij mee het beleid voorbereiden en onderbouwen aangaande een duurzaam grondstoffenverbruik en duurzame toeleveringsketens voor een groene en digitale toekomst? Wil jij de nieuwe kenniscel mee vorm geven en aansturen teneinde de missie en visie van deze nieuwe dienst binnen het Federaal Instituut voor Duurzame Ontwikkeling in praktijk te brengen? Wil jij meebouwen aan een duurzame samenleving in België en daarbuiten waarbij zowel sociale-, milieu
- en economische rechtvaardigheid de leidmotieven zijn? Dan ben jij de geknipte persoon voor de functie Hoofd van de kenniscel Critical Raw materials bij het Federaal Instituut voor Duurzame Ontwikkeling.

Als hoofd van de kenniscel CRM maak je deel uit van het directiecomité van het FIDO en stuur je de nieuwe kenniscel (die op termijn uit ongeveer 15 personen zal bestaan) aan. Je geeft invulling aan de missie en de opdrachten van de nieuwe kenniscel en je bouwt samenwerkingen op met de verschillende stakeholders, zowel in België als daarbuiten.

Concreet houdt deze functie onder meer in:

- ** Je bepaalt mee de strategische doelstellingen** van de kenniscel **en zet deze om in operationele doelstellingen**:

- Je **organiseert en coördineert de activiteiten** van de kenniscel en **staat in voor de goede uitvoering van de opdrachten**, namelijk
- het opbouwen van een kennisbasis:

- De monitoring van het grondstoffengebruik en -afhankelijkheid van België (binnen een Europese context), met een focus op kritieke en strategische grondstoffen
- Het ontwikkelen van kennis om de grondstoffenafhankelijkheid van België (binnen een Europese context) te verminderen
- Het opbouwen van kennis om de ecologische en sociale impact van grondstoffengebruik en -verbruik te verminderen
- Het formuleren van beleidsaanbevelingen en strategisch advies aan overheden, het bedrijfsleven en het maatschappelijk middenveld aangaande een duurzaam grondstoffengebruik, met een focus op kritieke en strategische grondstoffen
- Het opzetten en stimuleren van samenwerking tussen verschillende stakeholders
- Het samenbrengen en verspreiden van kennis naar de beleidsmakers, de academische wereld, bedrijven, ngo’s, andere organisaties en het brede publiek aangaande duurzaam grondstoffengebruik
- en verbruik, met een focus op kritische grondstoffen, en de uitdagingen die daarmee gepaard gaan
- Je **stuurt als leidinggevende de medewerkers** van de kenniscel CRM **aan en begeleidt hen in hun ontwikkeling.**:

- Je staat mee in voor de **selectie en rekrutering van nieuwe medewerkers **voor de kenniscel CRM
- Je **bent de contactpersoon** voor het FIDO wat betreft duurzaam grondstoffengebruik, met een focus op kritische grondstoffen, en de uitdagingen die daarmee gepaard gaan.
- Je **maakt deel uit van het directiecomité van het FIDO** en geeft mee invulling aan de missie, visie en de strategische en operationele doelstellingen van de organisatie.

Het **Federaal Instituut voor Duurzame Ontwikkeling** **(FIDO) is een kleine en dynamische federale overheidsorganisatie en een expertisecentrum voor duurzame ontwikkeling. Het FIDO is in volle ontwikkeling en zal in de volgende jaren een belangrijke groei kennen tot bijna 50 medewerkers. Het instituut is organisatorisch verbonden met de FOD Kanselarij van de Eerste Minister, maar valt beleidsmatig onder de Minister bevoegd voor Duurzame Ontwikkeling.
