**We are looking for**:
As a **Material & Corrosion Specialist**, you will report hierarchically to the Discipline Engineering Manager as part of the Industrial Direction. You will carry out your work in collaboration with other Group Engineering & Construction (GEC) disciplines (Estimating & Project Control, Advanced Automation, I&A Process Analytical & Technologies, IA&E Electricity, Mechanical, Design office) and deal with all the Global Business Units (GBU) and the production plants.
**We can count on you for**:
- Provide solutions in technical meetings with the project engineer, production and maintenance plant manager, or technical staff for new equipment (CAPEX) and Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO)-
- Develop and maintain an internal network of technical and scientific key contacts (site and R&T process engineers, scientific experts) to share knowledge, skills and experience. This process involves the sharing of ideas, strategies, processes and techniques through organizational training-
- Establish a network of external specialists in the field of materials to improve expertise and keep the knowledge updated (state-of-the-art materials)-
- Write technical reports or make critical assessments of technical reports-
- Provide technological information (via presentations, official documents, technical reports) to internal and external stakeholders-
- Ensure the security, quality, availability of equipment and installation regarding their aging behavior-
- Provide troubleshooting of production equipment with a proposal for immediate repair and a long-term solution based on internal investigations and experience feedback**You can count on us for**:

- Master's degree in Chemistry or Materials Science-
- Minimum of 10 years of work experience in an industrial environment, focused on the engineering of technical solution offers for multidisciplinary client requests-
- Proven background in corrosion engineering (material choice, corrosion phenomena, repair procedure, water treatment)-
- In-depth knowledge of welding metallurgy is highly desirable. A degree in Welding Engineering (like European Welding Engineer) is a plus-
- Strong customer service orientation, excellent communication and interpersonal skills facilitating teamwork and relationships with internal customers (GBUs) and suppliers-
- Excellent hands-on problem-solving, troubleshooting skills and process improvement mindset-
- Accurate and efficient work style with attention to detail and a proactive, self-motivated, diligent and responsible manner-
- Ability to work independently on several projects in parallel, effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a potential high-pressure environment-
- Fluency in French and English, spoken and written**You will get**:
