**The opportunity**

We’re looking to hire a Technical Solution Architect who will be part of the central, dedicated and dynamic team that develops ICT products that will be applied and used by our engineers.
- You will work closely with your fellow architects as well as with solution and business architects and the engineers to ensure the products are standardized and usable.
- You are expected to take the lead shaping at least one technical domain., f.e. storage.
- You define the technical strategy for this domain, work out standards, ensure efficient usage in new deployments and guide needed evolvements based on changing industry or business demands. For this is a strong connection required with the technical teams within the Production Services division as well as business architects in the different Business Units.
- You’ll report to the Technical Architecture department in the Global Architecture division.

As a transversal division, Global Architecture focuses on enterprise-level solutions for customers on different types of businesses where industry and market needs are fulfilled. This requires high engagement from a technical architecture standpoint.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include
- Develop technical roadmaps that clearly explain the current state and steps to transition into target
- You design solutions for technical or business use cases
- You review requests, designs of others and provide advice and technical directions
- Lead technical discussions, workgroups, make decisions where others cannot
- You build relationships and trust
- You maintain your technical expertise in any way possible
- Work autonomously on assigned tasks, actively seek information and answers
- Coordinate your activities and the sometimes different topics you concurrently work on

As our new Technical Architect, you will evaluate the short
- You can think theoretically and know how to make architectures executable
- Have a positive, can do attitude
- The ability to oversee multiple domains and the way choices in one domain affect the other(s)
- Motivation and passion for following technical developments and innovations
- Strong communication skills
- You master English (written en verbal)
- Have several years of experience in one or more ICT domains (such as storage, databases, network, cloud, middleware, security)

**Skills we'd like**:
It would be great if you have the following skills, too:

- Experienced with guiding transitions to cloud
- Be experienced with CI/CD pipeline frameworks & Infrastructure as Code
- Payment and digital industry knowledge is a plus
- Be familiar with scrum way of working
