**What does this job entail?**:
A well-managed balance contributes significantly to our profitability. The challenging responsibility for it lies in the hands of Group Treasury. From this department, the Data Insights Team focuses on **generating insights with which we ensure the optimal management of our balance strategy.** You’ll be joining them as the Treasury & ALM Manager.
This role gives you a broad overview of all our banking and insurance activities. You work **internationally**, together with colleagues from our subsidiaries, examining diverse topics including linear interest positions, embedded options, financing and liquidity management, asset composition and reinvestment of our current and savings account volumes.
**Variety and intellectual challenge** are nicely balanced in the position. In everything you do, you’ll have
- **on-the-job guidance** from experienced colleagues.
**What do we expect from you?**:
- How do our actual results compare to our strategic goals? What are the scenarios for the evolution of our results? By looking for the answers to these questions, you’re **the eyes and ears of our management team when it comes to balance.**:
- You regularly present and discuss your insights with position managers and senior managers.
- You take a broad perspective when you immerse yourself in the dynamics of a balance. Little by little, step by step, you **build up extensive expertise in the treasury world.**:
- The majority of treasury employees take two to three different roles that involving learning diverse aspects of the job. If you would like to take up **other assignments,** on top of your role in the Data Insights Team, we can look together based on your interests and competences.

- **Analysis** is one of your strengths. You discovered this while pursuing your master’s degree. You enjoy diving deep down into the details of complex material to bring clear insights to the surface.
