Takeda has embarked into an ambitious digital journey that will enable best-in-class processes in manufacturing and supply chain. As part of the Digital, Data & Technology core, we are deploying manufacturing execution systems (MES) across our global manufacturing network. In this role, you will be Global MES Technical Specialist. This worldwide project is supervised by a Global MES Team to drive the system design, development, installation, validation, support, and maintenance.
**How you will contribute**:
- Responsible for the coordination and the review of requests for new global customization (common to all facilities) for new MES projects or to improve existing modules in all Takeda sites.
- In close relation with delivery and functional teams, responsible for the promotion of global customization.
- While working closely with vendors teams (functional and technical), responsible for the support of local projects and day to day operations (3rd level support).
- Participate in the design, evaluation, and testing of the next global solutions for the MES System.
- Participate in the analysis, execution, and active support of MES migration and upgrade projects.
- On a daily basis, supervise and provide technical directions to the sites to ensure leveraging and standardization of the MES global solutions.
- Develop, assess, and update global specifications for MES system.
- Coordinate IQ/OQ and Change Management for global customization.
**What you bring to Takeda**
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree or 5 years of MES experience.
- Preferably experience in the field of Pharmaceutical or food & beverage or chemical industries.
- Experience with Siemens Opcenter Execution Pharma (SIT EBR) is required.
- Experience with Werum/Körber PAS-X is an asset.
- Basic knowledge on Oracle, VMware, and Microsoft Servers.
- Solid team player, able to meet deadlines and handle changing priorities.
- Knowledge of the GMP systems development life cycle and Change Management processes.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to work within a cross-functional and globally dispersed team setting.
- Willingness to travel (up to 10%).
