**Who we are**

ENAR Foundation was established in 2009 by ENAR to solidify the funding base of the European anti-racist movement and to support innovative actions in support of building a racism-free Europe. In recent years, ENAR Foundation’s portfolio of activities has expanded such that it is time to establish ENAR Foundation’s first executive team reporting to the Director of ENAR Foundation.

ENAR Foundation is therefore looking to recruit its inaugural Head of Programmes to serve as the manager of all our core programmes of our Foundation. From establishing the annual work plans of projects to execute and support, to managing the effective implementation and disbursement of funds allocated to beneficiaries, to supporting the storytelling together with your fellow functional heads. As Head of Programmes, we’ll be looking for you to build, set up and manage projects in each of our programmatic areas, helping to manage the programme beneficiaries and ensuring our programmes effective advance our goals of establishing a systemically inclusive society free of racism. We want you to be a shining beacon of change, making sure our programmes and activities help grow a strong anti-racist civil society across Europe and demonstrate how to achieve it with

You’ll be working as part of a small start-up team responsible for implementing an ambitious strategic work plan and thereby grow and solidify ENAR Foundation’s capacity to act for systemic change whilst supporting ENAR and its grassroots members to empower and enable them to advocate and support marginalised communities. Our hope is to attract sufficient funding in the coming years to grow the team and create line management opportunities for the inaugural heads. We are searching for a project and programme manager, an individual sensitive to beneficiary needs, and an innovator who thinks outside the box to keep our programmes fresh, relevant whilst furthering our track record for impact. We’re looking for a confident professional who will be able to build our programmes from the ground up, a capable self-starter who will help the programmes gain an identity and reputation for excellence. We are looking for an Someone who is not afraid to get stuck in the weeds of operational work but is also a capable strategist and a bit visionary.

**Your Responsibilities**

As Head of Programmes, we’re looking to you to:

- Establish remarkable programmes that achieve measurable impact
- Together with the Director, develop the annual work programme for each of our programmatic priority areas and identify opportunities for growth
- Lead the selection and evaluation processes for each of the programmatic priority areas and ensure effective reporting of outcomes to the board and prospective beneficiaries
- Maintain relationships with beneficiary organisations and ensure that the programmatic priorities and the procedures are fit for purpose
- Ensure expenditure for each of the annual work programmes is in alignment with the annual and pluriannual budgets established for the Foundation
- Collaborate with the Head of Marketing and Communications to develop stories that demonstrate impact and attract more donors and revenue to the programmes

Champion our beneficiaries
- Lead and maintain ENAR Foundation’s network of beneficiary organisations and ensure programmes respond to their needs
- Lead the evaluation process from beneficiaries to ensure the Foundation adds value
- Identify new prospective beneficiaries and build links and contacts with view of integrating and strengthening the ENAR network as the primary beneficiary of ENAR Foundation

Build awesome, innovative and inspiring communities
- Together with the Head of Partnerships, develop and maintain ENAR-foundation led stakeholder communities
- Ensure effective onboarding of new recruited members to participate in the stakeholder communities
- Collaborate with ENAR Foundation and ENAR colleagues to develop and deliver content that showcases the expertise of ENAR and connects community members to ENAR messaging and recommendations

Be a collaborative superstar
- Collaborate across the organisation to plan and deliver effective development strategies to grow our network of contacts, and donor interest,
- Develop and oversee strategies to foster new relationships and partnerships for ENAR Foundation and ENAR in close collaboration with the Director and programmes colleagues
- Ensure effective alignment of the development strategy and the programmes strategy in collaboration with the other heads.

What we’d like you to bring to the role
- 5-10 years of experience either in programme or project management involving beneficiaries
- Excellent attention to detail and implementing process flows and procedures
- Experience in building from the ground-up a Foundation programme
- Prior experience in, strong knowledge, or interest of
