**Overview of Tasks**
- Assisting the head of the Brussels office in all topics regarding Enterprise & Single Market Policy:
- monitor and develop impact assessments on EU initiatives in Enterprise, Single Market & Trade policy
- inform national and sectoral colleagues on these initiatives and collect their views
- draft position papers and lead further communication
- support representing Confartigianato Imprese and actively participate in meetings and committees at the European level
- organise meetings
- ensure follow-up to meetings and positions taken
- maintain contact with EU stakeholders, professional organisations as well as other international organisations
**Essential skills & competences**
- 2-3 years of professional experience in enterprise, single market and/or legal policies (incl. the Digital Single Market, consumer protection)
- legal and/or economic background is an asset
- good understanding of the EU institutions
- excellent interpersonal skills and team player
- analytical, creative and problem-solving abilities
- verbal and written communication skills
- confident speaker
- attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- diplomatic and negotiating skills
- ability to adapt to a multicultural working environment
- team spirit and proactivity
- fluent in English - knowledge of other European languages is an added value.
**Conditions**
The vacancy is a full-time position (38 hours per week) with an initial annual contract under Belgian law. The position is based in Brussels. Applicants must have the right to work in Belgium. Confartigianato Imprese offers a competitive salary package consisting of a monthly salary and several additional benefits. Please note that the main working language will be Italian.
