**Corporate Sustainability Specialist**
**Mission**:
- Ensuring the organization always meets its legal obligations about:
- Compliance with requirements of Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)
- Company Policies and Procedures in respect to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Corporate Sustainability (CS)
- Positive impact on local communities and the environment
**Main Tasks**:
- Facilitate internal and external stakeholder engagement and dialogue about CSR and Sustainability
- Manage creation and launch of internal and external communications regarding CSR, CS, SDG initiatives (e.g., sustainability report)
- Cooperate in raising public awareness of a company’s social responsibility commitments through marketing
- Contribute to build and maintain procedures and processes for GC Europe Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Sustainability
- Maintain understanding of trends and changes in CSR, CS, SDG
- Cooperate in materiality assessment part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
- Support organization in selection and management of relevant KPI’s (e.g., GRI), including its regular reporting
- Establish and maintain dedicated databases
- Support management in fulfilling requirements of CSRD
- Support EHS Department in establishing environmental sustainability initiatives
- Support and sustain other departments in dialogue with non-profit and charity organizations
- Conducting research into best practice within the industries specifically Dental industry activities
- Keep senior Management informed about running and future CSR, CS, SDG activities via regular reporting
**Requirements**:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Economics, International Politics, Marketing, Law or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in technical science (e.g., Engineering) will be considered only with specific previous experience relevant to the job profile.
- Previous proven experience in CSR.
- Experience in environmental sustainability (e.g, LCA studies) will be considered a plus.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English (other languages are a plus).
- Open minded approach, able to integrate into a diversified environment and act as facilitator among different stakeholders.
