**Function**:
As market facilitator, Elia creates efficient products and services for the market players in an objective, transparent and non-discriminatory manner while respecting the legal, regulatory, budgetary and economic framework. These products and services are associated with specific contracts which can be grouped into a number of broad categories, such as connection to the grid, access to the grid, balance management, provision of flexibility services, etc.
Within the Customers department, a team is responsible for the regulated connection and access contracts and for monitoring the various technical regulations. The Account Manager Grid Codes & regulated contracts function consists of two major parts:

- On the one hand, contracts for new products and services must be prepared taking into account the technical regulations and legislation in force and existing contracts must be kept up-to-date taking into account the applicable rules. An active monitoring of European, federal and regional regulations and legislation is therefore of great importance.
- On the other hand, Elia (you and your department) actively prepares proposals to amend the applicable technical regulations (federal and regional) and these are discussed with the various regulators and market parties involved.

Adjustments to both contracts and regulations are discussed in various internal and external working groups where the Account Manager Grid Codes & regulated contracts is the expert in this regard.

As Account Manager Grid Codes & regulated contracts, you together with your team, are responsible for the regulated connection and access contract and you take the lead in the monitoring, compliance with and adaptation of the various regulations and legislation. You maintain close contact with both regulators and the various experts and departments within Elia and do not hesitate to draw up and discuss draft text proposals.

**Your Profile**:

- You have a Master’s degree in Law, Political Science, Economics or in a technical field such as Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- You are curious about the developments in the energy sector and the associated legislation.
- You have excellent editorial skills.
- You have an eye for detail.
- You know how the liberalised markets and the energy market are organised.
- Experience with regulatory mechanisms is an asset.
- You are well organised and you can manage different projects at the same time.
- You can communicate fluently in French and Dutch.
