Do you want to play a role in the interesting world of energy commodity markets? Are you looking for a job in which you analyse transactions on international markets, in close cooperation with your Belgian and London based colleagues? - You will check and validate the daily market transactions and relating information on e.g. price against the internal procedures
- You will process the transactions in the various systems to guarantee a proper reporting
- You perform various controls and checks regarding trade limits/mandates/conformity and regarding compliance against internal/external regulations
- You handle requests made in the framework of ongoing audits
- You ensure that all information is updated for monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting
- You will participate in company projects fostering automation and further digitilisation of analysis & reporting
- Being part of the Belgian team, you work together with the London Transaction team, with other internal departments like e.g. the Contract Specialists section, Operations Section, Risk Section, etc. and with external partners e.g. auditing
**Het profiel**:
- You have a **Bachelor or a Master degree, preferably in Economics, data-science or statistics**:
- You have experience with **modelling in Excel and Macro’s**. Other modelling statistics knowledge is a plus.
- You have a **first experience with PowerBI or a similar program (Tableau, Qlikview,)**:
- Knowledge of SQL and/ or Python would be a plus
- You have at least a 2 years experience** in an analytical data position**:
- **Experience in the energy or stock market sector would be a plus.**:
- You have a very good knowledge of English, both orally and in writing
- You have an analytical mindset and you work in a structured manner
- You are detail-oriented and precise, you like to check your work
- You like to work autonomously, combined with reporting and communicating to internal colleagues and external partners
- You live in Belgium and have a work permit
