**The role, at a glance**:
The Admin & Facilities Officer will report to site lead of the Belgium facility. The Admin & Facilities officer will help with a broad range of administrative and practical tasks that contribute to the good functioning of the Schoten and other European offices of the Biamp group. In this role you are directly impacting our staff and customer experience, which are at the heart of Biamp Europe’s core strategic values.
**How you'll contribute**:
General administrative support:
- Assist local management and departments with various administrative tasks, such as ordering credit cards, managing the car fleet, supporting business travel arrangements, handling information requests from banks and other stakeholders, creating purchase orders, preparing WEEE declarations, and contributing to employee and customer event planning.
Facilities support:
- Act as first point of contacted for staff and suppliers with regards to Schoten office facilities.
- Ownership and execution of office improvement projects. This includes project planning, obtaining quotes, vendor selection and analysis, keeping all stake holders up to date and hand-on approach and management to get the project done within time and budget.
- Create, maintain, and implement necessary internal facility policies and procedures.
- Help ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental laws and regulations.
- Help with onboarding of new staff at our Schoten office.
- Closely cooperate with the US facilities team with regards to administrative facility matters for the European sites of Biamp Europe.
- Minimum 5 years of administrative and facility support experience.
- Hands-on approach.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment and work independently to meet personal responsibilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in analyzing financial reports and pricing proposals.
- Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders for cooperative and timely project completion.
