Through multiple collaborations with academic groups and in-house development, it has created a pipeline of three programs with the first program in the final stages of lead optimisation. To accelerate the development of their programs, Dualyx is looking to hire an experienced early Development Project Leader.

Dualyx was founded in 2019 in Gent and backed by top tier investors such as Biogeneration Ventures, VIB, PMV and V-Bio with a seed financing of EUR 7M. It is developing next-generation immune modulators through the state of the art antibody development, intending to create products that will have a significant impact on the lives of autoimmune disease patients.

As Development Project Leader you will be working in close collaboration with the executive team (CEO / CSO) and external experts, you will set up, drive and design the late discovery and early development strategy. Hereto you will drive cross-functional discovery and early development operational activities to advance these programs and achieve critical development milestones. This function of Project Leader will give you a unique opportunity to assume responsibilities in both late discoveries and early development settings and will allow you to make a huge impact on the outcome of patients suffering from autoimmune diseases.

Furthermore, you are:

- To take ownership in creating a vision for each compound within the portfolio, including identifying potential indications to be pursued of these indications.
- Responsible for the key deliverables of the early development and pre-clinical project and being able to lead a multidisciplinary team
- Responsible to drive the development of the program strategy and the integrated program plan. Engaging the project team / external parties and making sure that project constraints, risks and new opportunities are weighed in to keep the momentum going and contingency planning is in place.
- To lead the development and implementation of optimal IP, Publication and regulatory strategies to maximise the value of the developed assets
- To lead the project team in the development of strategic documents and phase transitions in collaboration with the development and management team and ensure alignment on feedback with regards to yes / no decisions, timelines, budgets, valuations, studies etc.

**Wat jij mee brengt**:
As the experienced Development Project Leader you recognise yourself in the following profile:

- University degree in Life Science (PhD in relevant expertise area or equivalent in biomedicine)
- A minimum of 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record in relevant R&D roles and significant experience in progressing biologics or related therapeutic field
- Extensive working knowledge in the drug development process, along with expertise in one or more of the relevant areas (e.g. clinical, CMC, regulatory, program management, project planning and management, medical)
- Work experience in early development programs in immunology is preferred
- High preference for someone in the vicinity of Gent, as this role requires significant time at the office and labs. Remote working is possible for a limited portion of the workweek.
