Head of Department Weaving

**A new challenge?**
**Are you ready to take the lead of our weaving department ?**

**Main responsibilities and key tasks**
- You are responsible for achieving the production objectives of the weaving department. (output, efficiency, quality ).
- You manage and organize all production activities.
- You monitor the efficiency and quality of the production process and take action when necessary.
- You are involved in innovation projects.
- In consultation with the Maintenance Manager, you determine the priorities for curative and preventive maintenance.
- As a people manager, you empower and coach your team. You keep your staff informed about personal matters.
- You have the direct and indirect lead of 80 people
- You work together with the other heads of department in order to find solutions as a team
- You report to the Production Manager

**Competencies and skills**
- You have at least a bachelor degree in a technical field.
- You have experience as a people manager in a production environment.
- You are a good communicator
- You have strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of têxtiles is a plus

**Languages**
You have a good knowledge of English and French, Dutch is an asset
