AGFA HealthCAre is looking for a part-time (50%) employee who would like to take up the responsibility of **Facilities Coordinator/ Prevention** **Advisor**
A Facilities Coordinator will maintain efficient and smooth operation of the physical working site in Ghent.
A Prevention
- Advisor is responsible for the safety and well-being of the employees. As a prevention advisor, you are responsible for the prevention policy and you provide advice on the welfare policy in the company.
**Your responsibilities as Facilities Coordinator**:
- You ensure assigned equipment is in proper working order and available for use;
- Maintains physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, functional and attractive work environment;
- You receive, manage, and process purchase requests and orders requests;
- You ensure problems are resolved quickly;
- You act as liaison between employees and any outside contractors needed to resolve specialized problems;
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
**Your responsibilities as Prevention-Advisor**:
- You create a culture of prevention within the organization. You build strong working relationships with the various stakeholders and raise awareness among the parties involved;
- You participate in a general prevention policy and the annual action plan;
- You identify, evaluate and report possible risks in the context of a safe work environment;
- You receive and inform the employees who, within the framework of the law on 'psychosocial risks at work' (e.g. bullying at work), contact you;
- You set up awareness campaigns for the staff and follow up on preventive and corrective actions;
- You visit the different workplaces within Agfa HealthCare Ghent and identify the risks;
- Based on this, you are responsible for the development and adjustments of the procedures;
- You participate in the investigation of occupational accidents and propose measures to reduce the number of accidents.
**Your profile**:
- You have obtained the diploma of prevention advisor level 3. If not, Agfa HealthCare will foresee a training prevention advisor level 3;
- Prevention and well-being are of paramount importance to you. You are prepared to further sharpen your knowledge and to delve into safety in the workplace and the relevant legislation;
- You have strong skills in communication, you can listen well and communicate convincingly and raise awareness;
- You are fluent in Dutch and you have a good knowledge of English;
- You are assertive, neutral and objective;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software necessary to create and maintain reports;
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
