**Your position**:
As a **Sector Risk Analyst** at the Risk Management department you determine and follow the acceptance policy towards associated with specific business sectors and countries belonging to a particular geographic zone in order to be able to offer clients a competitive cover policy in the framework of a financial balance for Credendo and to reinforce the company's image by giving information on this policy, both internally and externally. Moreover, you enhance the credit risk models in order to assess the different risk drivers with which Credendo is confronted when underwriting business.
- You will confirm and improve the credit risk assessment models used to evaluate the various risk factors (country, sector, debtor risks) faced by Credendo in the policy underwriting process.
- You determine and monitor the acceptance policy for countries in a given geographical area and for sectors in which risks are insured.
- You interpret and transform the results of existing risk assessment models, and convert them into acceptance policy proposals for submission to the Board of Directors and Management Committees of Credendo - Export Credit Agency.
- ou will contribute to the management of the OECD export credit agencies' country risk model and defend the Belgian position within the OECD country experts group by arguing with Credendo - Export Credit Agency/your Belgian counterparts active in international risk assessment when determining the minimum premium classification for each country.To be completed for a sector risk analyst ?
- You provide the public with information and clarification on country/sector risks and acceptance policy, and explain the various risks in the media.
- You will provide information to Credendo's internal clients, give advice and suggest solutions to complex ad hoc queries.
- You will join the Risk Management team and report to the Country & Sector Risk Manager.

**Your profile**:

- You hold a master's degree in economics or business engineering with a profound training in statistical modelling.
- Proficiency with R or Python is required.
- You have strong analytical skills and you are able to put things in a broader context.
- You have a strong interest in international economic and financial news and geopolitics.
- You are able to formulate substantiated proposals and to defend them to the appropriate target audience.
- You are result-oriented, you work autonomously but show also team spirit.
- You have a good command (both verbal and written) of English and Dutch or French.
