Zurich Insurance is currently looking for a (Senior) Underwriter Financial Lines for Financial Institutions. You have knowledge, experience and passion for liability insurance? You will work from the office in Zaventem, Belgium.

**Key Accountabilities**

As Underwriter Financial Lines you have a profound knowledge in Financial Lines liability insurance (Directors and officers liability, Professional Indemnity, Bankers blanket bond and Fidelity insurance) You will help us to manage and maintain our existing book of business, with primarily focus on Financial Institutions accounts, and with the opportunity for growth in line with our strategy. Team work is key alongside the independent coordination of your own portfolio. Your interpersonal skills lead to the identification of new opportunities. Long term relationship building is in your DNA.

**Your responsibilities are**:

- Manage, maintain and develop your portfolio with expertise in (Management) Liability insurance by proactively seeking renewal and new account opportunities in the financial sector.
- Evaluate and analyse the insurance risks for national andInternational Financial institutions
- Manage, develop and broaden contacts with (international) insurance brokers and service providers
- Support and promote the organization's products and services in order to increase the successful selling of our products in the related specific market
- Cross-sell other lines of business to increase product density with the account
- Initiate product development ideas and upon approval, actively contribute to the development and support the implementation of a new product offering
- Coordinate, follow up and process all administrative requirements regarding your customers and contacts where you work in a well arranged manner with and on your files
- Focus on results with a passion for the business
- Actively commits and contributes towards an excellent team performance

**Requirements/Profile**
- Master in (preferably) Law or Economics with a profound expertise and minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in (Management) Liability insurance (knowledge and experience in other lines are an asset), or vested in the financial sector and relevant (insurance) or other financial experience.
- Clear and considerate communicator, both fluent in English and Dutch or French
- Committed to take well informed, stringent and very knowledgeable decisions
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking and structured way of working
- Company financials and corporate structures analysis is within your field of interest
- Profound knowledge of the banking/investment industry and familiar with the latest products, trading methodologies and investment strategies / asset classes
- Keen on developing a broader expertise in insurance by using your interpersonal and commercial skills
- Capable to work both in team as independent
- Loyal and strives for business opportunities
- Excellent organizing, processing and computer skills
- Sound interest in the economic and business environment
- High performer capable of working with strict deadlines and 6 or 7 digit budgets.
