As a leading telecommunications and entertainment company with more than 7 million customer interactions and around 100 internal Telenet and BASE stores in Belgium and more than 1500 employees working in a customer-oriented function, Telenet has a very diverse data availability across the entire organization (e.g. customer, product, interaction data).
Within the Customer Operations Steering Tribe (part of the larger Customer Operations Circle), we are looking for a Data Insights & Reporting Analyst to become a part of our Customer Operations Office Team, where we will use data to support, challenge and inspire our Telenet, BASE & back-office customer operations colleagues with clear recommendations, actionable insights, and efficient self-service dashboards.
**Key Responsibilities**
Key overall responsibility is to provide our Customer Operations Leadership with a sense of calm, clarity and predictability by actively seeking to understand the plans and ambitions of internal and external stakeholders that significantly impact our operations. Our second mission is to promote transparency and understanding of the Customer Operations throughout the organization by providing clear and accessible information that enables leadership stakeholders to comprehend the bigger pictures.
Some tasks related to our mission are:
- Drive the day-to-day support of our Customer Operations (Senior) Leadership Team
- Take the lead in insights deepdives and cases around key operations topics prioritized in a monthly performance meeting with (senior) leadership
- Ensure the execution of the deepdives is done in the most efficient way, and interpretable for business stakeholders
- Define the business data and KPI’s that are needed to produce the most meaningful insights in alignment with the most important stakeholders
- Synthesize complex insights into easy-to-understand actionable recommendations that resonate with stakeholders
- Support in the budget process in close collaboration with business and controlling
- Create structural Qliksense reports to support decisioning and reach objectives
**About You
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Business Engineering, Applied Economics, Computer Sciences, Information Management ) or equivalent by experience
- Looking for professionals and more experienced (+7 years) data experts with experience in Telecom, Entertainment, Consulting or similar industries is a plus
- Experience with at least 1 reporting tool and the use of QlikSense is a plus
- Strong acumen in quantitative analytics and structured problem solving
- Ability to communicate with (senior) leadership in a decent and trustworthy way and provide the necessary challenge where needed
- Results-driven: able to coordinate an analytics initiative end to end from ideation through production and adoption and have an understanding of the life cycle of an analytics initiative and the common pitfalls
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills and ability to influence decision makers
- Expertise in a consulting back ground is a (big) plus reflected in skills as “pyramid principle”, building good storylines etc.
- Fluent in English and preferably in Dutch/French
