**Context**:
The Fixed Income Sell-Side Trading, part of the Investment Banking department of Bank Degroof Petercam, is the execution desk of our Fixed Income Sell-Side Team for the account of Institutional Clients (Insurance companies, Banks, Asset Managers)
We provide access nearly to every global securities market places with a strong focus on Benelux markets.

The Fixed Income Sell-Side Trading Desk is a team of professionals who combine strong expertise in trading Fixed Income on various markets.

The key missions of the Fixed Income Trading Desk are:

- To handle and execute the fixed income orders coming from our Institutional Clients.
- To be a ‘market expert’ and idea generator partner embedded in the Fixed Income Sell-Side strategy.
- To manage the Fixed Income Trading Book.

To reinforce our Fixed Income Sell Side Team, we are looking to hire a Fixed Income Trader. The role will be based in Brussels.

**Your Position**:
As a Trader, you will be in charge of:

- Managing the Fixed Income Trading Book arising from client needs:

- Develop the book on govies and corporates name.
- Evaluate, control and monitor the risks and hedging linked to the book via repo, futures, derivatives.
- Coordinate with the other trading desks.
- Managing the Fixed Income Order Execution
- Sharp focus on getting the best pricing while sourcing the required liquidity (knows where to execute ideas).
- Optimize the execution setup and guarantee best execution.
- Professional relationships with counterparties managing an existing international network.
- In-depth knowledge of market structure evolution.
- Generating Tradeable Ideas
- Strong collaboration with the Fixed Income Sales team.
- Participate to the success of the team by distributing relevant daily research reports and relevant market news to clients.
- Continue to develop relations with the street in order to get access to the most interesting axes.
- Analytics
- Expertise in front trading technology.
- Use and develop of pre-trade/post trade analytics tools (Market Abuse, TCA ).
- Production of business reports.

**Your Profile**:

- Master degree in finance, economics, applied sciences or engineering; CFA is an asset.
- Solid knowledge of financial products and bond markets in particular.
- Good knowledge of VBA and Python is a plus.
- Access to a solid network of professional relationships (investment banks).
- Good communication/commercial skills.
- Critical thinking, result driven and stress resistant.
- Team player, collaborative mindset.
- Fluent in English, Dutch and French.
