An Application Specialist is sought by a dynamic and innovative digital health start-up in Belgium.
Your role, in collaboration with the product manager, is to execute the product and market strategy including customer need identification, product or service offering and promotion. You will build up a sustainable portfolio of customers, driving market adoption, serviceability and profitability.
**Key responsibilities**
- Desire to learn and become an expert with a high degree of market, industry and competitive knowledge
- Build and maintain customer relationships throughout the customer life cycle - be a reliable and thrusted point of contact for our customers
- Key Opinion Leader (KOL) management
- Help drive first sales and learn from customers to help define the further product strategy and sales roll-out
- Evaluate product performance in the medical setting, ensure the success of the products and help define necessary changes to optimize our products and improve customer satisfaction
**Requirements**:
- Relevant industry experience - ideally in the software and healthcare sector
- Strong interest in medical diagnostics
- Able to understand both the technical solution and the clinical problem it solves
- Able to adapt communication styles to the different customer types: medical doctors, academic researchers, pharmaceutical medical and marketing teams
- Entrepreneurial attitude, strong analytical skills, and interested to initiate and negotiate projects and partnerships
- Good knowledge of the digital challenges within the healthcare sector
- Understanding of the regulated context that a medical device company operates (CE mark, ISO 13485)
- Fluent in both English and Dutch

**Salary**: €45,000.00 - €55,000.00 per year
