Who are we looking for?

You are the central TRS procurement (Traction & Rail Services) contract & master data coordinator and responsible to act as coordinator between our team of (lead) buyers, quality coordinator and various internal and international stakeholders to assure a pan-European harmonised approach on TRS contracting and master data set-up (e.g. price grids, SRM data).

You will be responsible to develop, monitor and assuring a central TRS procurement information system consolidating all business supporting master data related to our traction, single Wagon load providers, Intermodal, Terminals and trucking suppliers.

What are your duties?
- You secure pan-european Lineas standardization of supplier procurement and operational templates
- You set-up and maintain a central supplier master database including relevant supplier contract data, Quotation benchmarks, audit results, performance scorecards and status of ongoing improvement actions. You define the needed processes to secure the needed data input, data consistency and data sharing with the different stakeholder.
- You will be responsible for the reporting of supplier KPI’s in the central supplier master database, Cost/Tonkm, Cost/wagon, total cost to serve, OTIF, digital integration and safety log.
- You provide insights on low performing & blacklisted suppliers.
- You develop & maintain the benchmarking information system based on all supplier quotes for Long haul, FM/LM, staff and Value added service suppliers for all the Lineas rail solutions, Conventional Blocktrains, intermodal trains, SWL, GXN products, trucking and terminals.
- You develop & maintain a detailed overview of all potential supplier prospects across all regions.
- You will proactively initiate and steer improvement actions and projects within our department.
- You coordinate with supply chain on yearly capacity demand forecast evolutions for our different TRS suppliers to support yearly contract reviews of the lead buyers.
- You ensure correct calculation and verification of SLA penalty’s from and towards suppliers on behalf of our buyers.
- You monitor & report the supplier budgets throughout the year and report to the supplier’s responsible buyer and relevant internal stakeholders when contingency actions are needed.
- You secure the consolidated management reporting out together with the head of TRS procurement

What is your profile?
- You have a bachelor/master in logistics, supply chain or applied economics (or equivalent by experience)
- You have a first relevant professional experience with supplier management
- You have basic knowledge in procurement
- You have demonstrated experience in project management and LEAN principles
- You are able to think strategically and at the same time take into account operational reality
- You have basic knowledge in budget reporting & follow-up tools (Tableau is a plus)
- Experience with SRM tools is a plus
- You have fluent written and oral communication skills in English and Dutch/French with a good knowledge of the other language (Dutch/French)
- Able to interpret and present supplier performance data, facilitate root-cause analysis (e.g.5W) and set-up improvement plans.
- You are pro-active, stress-resilient, pragmatic, result-oriented and flexible
- You are willing to travel on regular base in the EU (approximately 1 week a month).
