**Your function**:
The corporate accounting team of the Corporate Centre in Brussels is looking for someone to join the team to analyse the quality of the reported information of the Reinsurance segment and to prepare various reports (management, budget, forecasts, costs ).

**Function as the 1**st** line of control**
- **Ensure the controls** included in the Control Framework are implemented;
- Pro-actively **assessing and improving** the current processes and internal controls;
- Ensure the various information into **the Consolidation tool** (IFRS and Solvency II) is properly reported (in compliance with the Group’s Data Management Policy);
- Prepare a monthly (limited) and quarterly (extensive) **analytical review** on the movements of the figures. This will serve as input to support other teams (Corporate Performance Management team, Consolidation & Financial Reporting team);
- Liaise with the **operating companies** to ensure proper information inflow regarding the internal reinsurance contracts.

**Reporting**
- Producing, on a monthly basis, an **accounting/management report** explaining the trends of the period;
- Prepare the annual **Multi-Year Budget **and quarterly** forecasts** for the Reinsurance segment.

**Other accountabilities**
- Assist or take the lead on various **projects **in relation to the Reinsurance segment (IFRS 17, IFRS 9, Life reinsurance);
- Assist in delivering information to the **external auditors**;
- Support the Group Reinsurance department in case of **ad hoc questions**;
- Assist in the preparation of the **Solvency II reporting** to the NBB (in cooperation with the Risk department and external party);
- **Document** training materials for the product area;
- Deliver **training** to the end users, deployment and support teams;
- Collaborate with **vendor** to troubleshooting issues;
- Follow the **change management policy** when implementing and maintaining the financial reports in the reporting tools.

**Your profile**:

- You have an academic degree in Finance, Business administration or Sciences;
- You have minimum 5 years of relevant working experience as Financial controller, experience in the (re-)insurance industry is a big plus.
- You have a very good knowledge of IFRS, Solvency II is a plus;
- You are analytical, eager to learn and hands-on;
- You are a team player, but you are able to work independently as well;
- You are fluent in English.
