We’re looking for a kick-ass project manager to rock our custom Shopify projects, with 4+ years of experience to join our growing Shopify development team in Ghent. If you are interested in e-commerce and you love to help brands scale throughout Europe and beyond, this vacancy is worth considering.

The team

Job description
As a project manager you should be able to zoom out but also dive into the greatest (technical) detail. You should be able to communicate very effectively with different kinds of people, from CEO’s to marketing managers, to developers, to designers and beyond. All the while not losing track of the business side of things.
Bringing structure in highly complex stressful situations should be something you are excited about and “meeting deadlines” should be your middle name.
Preferably you have experience with Shopify
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage expectations with the client
- Make clear, well written, understandable project briefs based on the wireframes and design from designer
- Understand the developer’s issues, timelines, ways of working
- Take ultimate responsibility for delivering a project of a client
- Upsell features that you think are helpful
- Understand the client’s business so you can bring added value
- Continuously improve design, development, launch, post launch workflows
**About you**:
- 4+ years of experience as a (Shopify) project manager having worked in the e-commerce industry delivering large scale projects/website
- Have a good understanding of code, design, how developers think and business logic.
- Are always interested in improving workflows, mapping them out, helping the team understand and follow the workflows.
- Very strong organizational, communicative and time management skills
- Doesn’t shy away from telling clients how things work and are in a structured and logical way
- Passion for e-commerce and efficiency
- Experience with Shopify
- Experience with headless e-commerce is a plus
- Development or UX design experience
- Experience working within a variety of agile development teams and processes
- Fluent in Dutch, English is a must
