**What You’ll Do for Us**:
Anthocyanins are used in many beverages, including adult core sparkling products (used for mixing with alcohol, and consumed as is). The understanding of interactions with other ingredients, with external factors, and processing factors are very important to know to deliver stable beverage over time, and ultimately the best experience to consumers.
As key activities, the intern will lead:
- Connecting with internal stakeholders within The Coca Cola company, external stakeholders (suppliers and academics), and other experts on the topic, to build and leverage knowledge
- Make prototypes in the lab, to assess different colorant solution in term of cost, stability, legality, working with cross functional team, in order to recommend most suitable solution
The intern will learn:
- how to work in cross functional team, in international corporate environment
- deal with external stakeholders
- make beverages at lab scale as well as pilot plant scale to validate scale up
- develop critical view to improve best practices
- make evaluation, leveraging analytical and sensory tools
**Skills & qualifications**:
Student in Master of food science, food engineering or equivalent
Can work and report in English (an other language such as French or Dutsch is a plus)
Proficient with software (pack office)
Knowledge in food formulation, processing and statistics
Good communication skills
Pragmatic and hands on, with good organization skills
Respect of food safety, hygiene and safety practices
High interest in corporate and international environment

**Internship duration**:
6 months internship, based in R&D center in Brussels, with ‘in-office’ work required most of the time
