Core Sparkling Product Developer

The Global Development & Innovation Center located in Brussels is one of the main GDI centers of the Coca‐Cola Company. We oversee the development of new beverages, packages and retail equipment innovation for Europe, Eurasia, Middle East and Africa. We are looking for a Product Developer to work on global, regional and local Innovation projects and Business continuity projects for the Core Sparkling category. This role is a single contributor role, reporting to the Core Sparkling Category Manager.

**Key duties/responsibilities**:
**Works on assigned projects**:
- Accountable for on time delivery of projects as per agreed project development brief.
- Able to make routine decisions independently. Consult his line manager as appropriate on key milestones & general guidelines.
- Has a good overview of system dynamics: Concentrate part model, bottler-franchise operating model, value chain, Operating unit structure,
- Able to translate consumer test results and sensory attributes into winning product propositions
- Able to resolve technical challenges
- Able to identify areas of improvement on product development, process, communication routines,
**Communication**:
- Lead the communication between GDI & the OU project team (project status, communicate potential issues, potential hurdles) with the buffer of the category lead as appropriate.
- Accountable to communicate Technical risks/challenges along the development process to Project stakeholders and within GDI community
- Be an active member of GDI community by participating in the different GDI communication platforms (O&L forum, category meeting, GDI network communication, Yammer and Teams)
**Technical task**:
- Development of prototypes at lab scale taking into account the processing conditions in the bottling system.
- Production of samples at the pilot plant of both beverage base parts and final products. Accountable for product and micro release.
- Filling accurately internal databases for stability tracking, formula database, project management tools,
- Precise description of manufacturing conditions
- Provide input of best practices for production of concentrate parts or finished products during production trials
- Understand and comply to good lab practice (5S) and internal procedure (wearing Protective Personal Equipment were necessary)
