Our client is, an insurance company specializing in Life and Non-Life products, is looking for an Underwriter - Life.
**Description**
The underwriter ensures that new insurance policies are written in compliance with internal rules and external regulations. In addition to underwriting, the Underwriter is also responsible for managing existing policies by ensuring proper follow-up on client requests for changes.
- You will provide a positive customer experience by processing broker/client requests in a timely manner and providing the best solution to any issues they may encounter;
- You cooperate with the compliance department or the medical secretariat, as appropriate. In addition, you will also contact the client or broker to request missing elements;
- You answer our clients and brokers if they have questions, sometimes requiring the assistance of an expert, the legal department or the product management department;
- You use the tools, scripts, databases available to ensure a consistent approach to the service offered.
**Profile**
- You have at least one year of experience in life insurance;
- You have a good knowledge of Dutch and French (written and oral);
- You are communicative and proactive;
- You have knowledge of or an interest in financial and medical terminology;
- You are customer oriented;
- You communicate proactively with the client and other internal departments according to the process at hand;
- You are a person who can be independent in your duties but also a team player.
