We are looking to hire a motivated Junior Consultant (paid internship) to join our public affairs team. The position will initially be for six months, with a possibility of extension to a permanent contract.
**job description**
You will support a small team of public affairs professionals in their daily activities with the aim of helping you grow into a capable junior professional. The team works closely on innovation and technology topics in the field of future mobility.
Your duties will consist of the following:
- Monitoring and analysis of policy and legislative developments for clients;
- Support association management activities;
- Research and analysis on topics of interest for clients;
- Support with event organisation;
- Support production of public relations content and newsletters;
- Support the organisation of meetings and follow-up;
- Liaise with external partners
**requirements**
- Master’s degree in European Studies or other related fields;
- Good understanding of EU policy-making
- Prior professional experience in the field of mobility, digital or telecommunications policies
- Team player, proactive and excellent social skills
- Organisational skills, including the ability to work against tight deadlines with attention to detail
- Intellectual curiosity, able and willing to engage deeply with technical topics
- Excellent English written and oral communication, fluency in at least one other official EU language is a plus
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PPT, TEAMS)
- Eligible to work in the EU
