We are seeking an individual to fulfil the **Market Access Manager Benelux** role and join our Sales and Marketing team. This role is a field-based role with our office based in Mechelen and will be part of the Benelux Management team.

**The Opportunity**

Drive growth of our implantable hearing solutions across the Benelux region by reducing access barriers through influencing policy, driving reimbursement advances for new and existing technologies and generating evidence based solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Critically assess drivers and barriers to pricing, reimbursement and market access for the designated region
- Create the Benelux heat map, and develop comprehensive strategy and activity plans for Benelux Market Access to secure rapid access to all Cochlear therapies
- Develop core deliverables in cooperation with global staff (e.g. reimbursement dossiers, health economic evaluations/value dossiers, budget impact models) to generate region/country specific data
- Develop and drive implementation of value dossiers adapted for the local market (i.e. health insurances, hospitals)
- Design and execute Market Access programs to increase Market Access capabilities locally with across functional approach
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the Regional Strategic and Business Plans to deliver on Company strategic agenda
- Define business plans and local initiatives for individual markets to drive industry growth in collaboration with regional team

**Ideally**
- Degree in life sciences, (health) economics or business with an advanced degree in one of these fields preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or device industry, with experience in a field-based Market Access role, within Benelux
- Experience launching products in the hospital/clinical environment
- Strong understanding of health economics, outcomes research, and related disciplines
- Strong understanding of the designated regions (Benelux) Market Access landscape:

- Experience/understanding of national Health Technology Assessment authority
- Experience/understanding of national reimbursement system
- Strong personal leadership and influencing skills
- For professional purpose, fluency in Dutch is needed along with Excellent English
- Willing to travel >70% of the time
