We offer you an 8 to 12 weeks internship in the Marketing department at the leading home furnishing company in the world We will give you the chance to learn and to develop in SEO by being part of the daily life of the marketing & e-commerce team. You can count on a strong mentorship and you will be involved in projects close at heart.
As a person, you are passionate about understanding the behaviours of our customers, you are motivated by increasing customer value and thinking customer first. You are curious about online searches and how to create unique search results, tailored to our customers interests and needs.
You act as an ambassador for the IKEA culture and values and enjoy working with operational tasks in a dynamic and changing environment.
You are proactive and positive, and you like to find solutions. Your sense of teamwork has been proven and you will support the co-workers and managers of the marketing & e-commerce team to which you are attached.
Your language skills (Dutch native or bilingual level preferred), your thoroughness and your ability to carry out actions from A to Z will be essential for the position of SEO intern for the Service Office.
You will work closely with the unit's SEO specialist and in alignment with our online priorities to:
- carry out keywords research, preferably on Dutch keywords (onboarding on all tools will be provided),
- identify top keywords to target and analyze SEO performance of ikea.be for these keywords,
- identify SEO pain points and propose solutions for optimizations,
- contextualize and communicate your findings to the rest of the team,
- provide other support to the SEO specialist when needed,
- you have enough copywriting skills in Dutch to create impactful meta content,
- you are able to follow up on work done and capture learnings to improve,
- furthermore, you will have the chance to participate in all relevant team meetings; these include a variety of stakeholders (marketing, selling, home furnishing & retail design ; your active and constructive participation will be valued
