**What does this job entail?**:
A job with great responsibility and impact is waiting for you at Group Treasury. You’ll be adding your strengths to our small but enthusiastic front-office team for asset and liability management. Your focus? The **management of the market risks and investment positions that are linked to the core activities of our bank.**

Together with your colleagues working in liquidity and funds management, you ensure that the KBC balance is managed in a secure and profitable manner. Your efforts shine through in our business results.

**What do we expect from you?**:

- You **manage interest-rate positions**: you optimise them in function of targets, develop and implement hedging strategies, and **translate your market vision in our positioning.**:

- You manage a **sizeable bond portfolio**:

- You make trade-offs between liquidity and credit spreads, determining the best timing for an investment.
- You make trades with external parties.
- You follow up on credit risks.
- You set internal prices for large and complex loans.
- You **hedge foreign currency positions.**

**Your key strengths?**:

- You have a master’s degree. You’re particularly **interested in financial markets and treasury** and ideally have experience in them.
- You’re a powerhouse when it comes to **analysis**. As such, you have reliable methods for assessing positions and market conditions. You have no problems making and substantiating **decisions**.
- You believe results count. You have the eye for detail needed to works with great **accuracy**. That’s why you picked up on the error in the last sentence.
- You agree with your colleagues about the importance of **teamwork**. We are a small team. It’s therefore nicer to work when the collaborative spirit runs high.
- You communicate fluently in **English**. Dutch and/or French will be a plus point.
