Construction Superintendent

Shall be required to undertake duties as requested by the Construction Manager.
- Shall display Leadership and work within an Integrate Owner/EPCm) Team and Construction
- Contractors to achieve Project objectives.
- Shall be responsible and accountable to review, comment, and approve construction execution and related procedure specifications, and deliverables prepared by the EPCm
- Contractor and Construction Contractors
- Construction Superintendent shall act as an ambassador and lead by example on all INEOS
- HSE live saving rules and ensure a safe working environment within the construction areas
- The Construction Superintendent shall support the Construction Manager on matters related to site technical decisions to better achieve flawless construction execution and transition to commissioning.
- A dynamic role requiring the Construction Superintendent to demonstrate capacity to take workload, work with accuracy, be inventive and have the ability to multi-task. across multi construction disciplines.
- Working effectively within established procedures and participates in all important meetings
and workshops as required by Construction Manager (e.g. weekly and monthly meetings,
- Constructability, Construction and Completion Sequence Reviews).
- Strong ability to influence others who are not in his direct control to achieve Project objectives
- Bring solutions and provide support to the Construction Manager but not generate “micromanagement” or unnecessary works to the Construction Contractors.
- Be inventive to bring technical and execution solutions that favour safe construction xecution
and transition to commissioning activities.
- Facilitate periodic meetings with the EPCm Contractor and Construction contractors as required by the Construction Manager
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Construction Manager
- Manage ad-hoc requests related to project operational and project logistics activities.
**Je profiel**:
Technical background as a Civil Discipline Engineer, Project Field Engineer, or Construction Superintendent, with solid Project Execution experience
- More than fifteen (15) years in Project Execution, with a strong background in construction
- management of large green field construction activities.
- Experience with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) methodology and systems completion
management
- Experience with multi-cultural type Projects.
- Good understanding of English in speaking and writing and by preference fluent in Dutch.
