We are hiring an** Application / Cloud architect (ACA) - 5140** for our prestigious partner DIGIT TM (DG Informatics) **in Brussels**. DIGIT-TM is a contract from the European Commission for IT services across Europe.

Main Responsibilities
As an** Application / Cloud architect (ACA)** you will be responsible for:

- Analysis of the integration of different information systems
- Data analysis and data modelling.
- Development of software for both back-end and front-end solutions
- Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users.
- Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting
- Creating designs and blueprints of System Architecture.

**LEVEL OF EDUCATION**
- Bachelor's level or 3 years of higher education

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**
Following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above listed tasks:

- Proven experience with back-end development, in particular with the following technologies or equivalent:

- Java,
- Spring,
- Hibernate,
- Oracle / SQL
- Proven experience with front-end development, in particular with the following technologies or equivalent:

- Angular
- TypeScript
- Good knowledge of software development methodologies
- Good knowledge of architecture best practices and patterns.
- Good knowledge of Relational DBMS.
- Good knowledge of business process analysis.
- Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in DG TRADE.R4
- Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
- Analysis and problem-solving skills
- Capability to write clear and structured technical documents
- Ability to participate in technical meetings and good communication skills
- Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience of working in a team;
- Ability to participate in multilingual meetings;
- Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects;
- Excellent Team Player
- Ability to understand, speak and write in English (B1/B2). French B1 will be an advantage;
