**Requirements**:
We are currently looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our people team. You will be a country-specific HR Expert across people operations, employee experience, and payroll management. Being the main point of contact for any employee queries and helping them across different processes such as pre-boarding, onboarding, probation reviews, and absence management. Ensuring all the HR information systems are kept up to date, allowing efficient work for the different teams.

As part of your responsibilities, you will support organizational people development initiatives, partnering with various department stakeholders, assisting them while identifying opportunities for process improvement and designing, and implementing improvements.

This role will be based in the Benelux and will report to the Team Lead People Operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years experience within an HR Operations or People operations department
- A self-starter, someone comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive attitude and an eagerness to learn and develop
- A solid understanding of Belgium employment law and country-specific payroll processes
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent in ‘on-the-job’ experience
- A strong client/ customer-facing body - able to build, engage and maintain relationships
- Previous experience with HR information systems such as Workday
- Previous experience with HR ticket systems such as PeopleSoft, ServiceNow or AtSpoke
- Fluency in English combined with a fluency in Dutch and French

**Responsibilities**:

- Being the main point of contact for any employee queries on people operation processes (such as hiring, pre-boarding, onboarding, probation reviews, absence management, termination policies, off-boarding)
- Collaborate closely with the payroll team and be the partner for various department stakeholders to identify solutions to enhance the overall business strategy.
- Ensure the data in our HRIS systems are kept up to date
- Being a country, or region-specific HR Expert across People Operations, employee experience, payroll management, HRIS / job architecture to support organizational development initiatives
- Partner with various department stakeholders to identify solutions that enhance and drive the overall business strategy
- Utilize the HR information systems to ensure employee data is kept up-to-date and maintained efficiently
