Onze hoofdprioriteit is de financiële ondersteuning van _**_wetenschappelijk onderzoek _**_rond kanker. Maar ook _**_sociale hulp_**_, steun aan kankerpatiënten, _**_preventie en opsporing_**_ zijn bijzonder belangrijk voor ons. We zijn dan ook op zoek naar mensen die de _**_idealen en doelstellingen_**_ van Stichting tegen Kanker mee willen uitdragen. Heb jij de gedrevenheid om onze toekomst mee uit te tekenen?_
Het Departement Grants organiseert projectoproepen, op die manier ondersteunen we jaarlijks heel wat projecten die nauw aansluiten bij onze missies. In 2024 zullen we bijvoorbeeld een bedrag van 35 miljoen euro toekennen aan kankeronderzoeksprojecten. Naast Wetenschappelijke Grants en mandaten financieren we ook Preventie Grants, Levensloop Grants en Social Grants. Volgend op het lanceren van deze projectoproepen en het organiseren van het selectieproces is het departement ook verantwoordelijk voor de opvolging en evaluatie van de geselecteerde projecten.

**Jouw missie**:
Als Auditor Grants ben jij betrokken bij de opvolging en evaluatie van de geselecteerde projecten. Jij bent verantwoordelijk voor de controle op het correct gebruik van de toegekende fondsen aan de laureaten van de Grants.
- Je analyseert en controleert de financiële verslagen van de projecten op basis van het initieel goedgekeurd project. Je gaat na of ingediende uitgaven gerechtvaardigd zijn en in overeenstemming met de opgestelde overeenkomst.
- Je staat in direct contact met de laureaten in het kader van de opvolging, zoals de vraag naar aanvullende informatie of verzoeken om correcties uit te voeren. Je organiseert, indien nodig, een audit ter plaatse.
- De eindvalidatie van de financiële verslagen ingediend door de laureaten behoort eveneens tot jouw verantwoordelijkheid. Voor de uitbetaling van de subsidies werk je nauw samen met de financiële afdeling van Stichting tegen Kanker.
- Je hebt oog voor procesverbeteringen en formuleert aanbevelingen om ze te optimaliseren. Je werkt mee aan de ontwikkeling van een nieuw grantsmanagement systeem.
**Jouw profiel**:
- Je hebt een masterdiploma en meer dan 5 jaar ervaring in een audit
- of financiële controlefunctie.
- Frans en Nederlands schrijf en spreek je vlot, en je hebt een degelijke kennis van het Engels.
- Je kan goed overweg MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Hoewel je uitblinkt in zelfstandig werken, ben je vooral een teamspeler die waarde hecht aan een naadloze samenwerking met je collega’s en manager.
- Je beschikt over de nodige maturiteit om tegelijk diplomatisch en standvastig om te gaan met uitdagende situaties.
- Je bent leergierig en neemt graag initiatief.
