**Overview Of BNY Mellon SA/NV**:
The Bank of New York Mellon SA/NV is a Belgian public limited liability company registered in Belgium (hereinafter “EB”). EB is a wholly owned Subsidiary of The Bank of New York Mellon (“BNYM”) and has 9 permanent establishments through which it carries on its business in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Dublin, Frankfurt, London, Luxembourg, Madrid, Milan, and Paris. Each of these establishments is a Branch of EB. EB has also a subsidiary in Frankfurt.
EB provides a range of Securities Services & Digital (Asset Servicing & Digital, and Issuer Services), and Market & Wealth Services (Clearance and Collateral Management, Markets and Treasury Services).
EB’s clients include corporations, public funds, investment funds, government agencies, foundations, endowments, and global financial institutions (such as banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, insurance companies, central banks, financial intermediaries, independent registered investment advisors and hedge fund managers).

**Team Description**:
The EB CAO office provides administrative and management support to the EB Chief Executive Officer and Executive Committee in the day to day running of the bank.

**Job Purpose**:
Lead and coordinate the implementation of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) activities across the EB. Work with all relevant parties to ensure that ESG is embedded across the EB businesses (1st line) in a standardised, consistent manner, aligned to enterprise level activities and in accordance with all necessary regulations, policies, and procedures.

**Responsibilities**:
In conjunction with the EB Executive committee and the European Bank ESG Council define the target operating model for ESG, devise an implementation plan to achieve the Target model and then manage the execution of that plan within the set timeline and to the set budget. Work closely with all other ESG areas within BNYM to ensure the EB ESG target model is aligned with the enterprise activities and consistent will activities occurring across the company.
Ensure the collation and completion of the required quantitative data from the relevant departments who have the source data, confirm that the supplying department has adhered to all relevant data governance policies and procedures and work with the supplying department to resolve any data quality or data governance issues.
Ensure the completion of the required qualitative data sections of the disclosures by the relevant departments or individuals.
Liaise with other entities and bodies completing ESG disclosures to ensure alignment and consistency in approach, methodology and production of the disclosures and source data.
Complete the disclosures in the correct format and ensure they are published or submitted on the correct date to the correct organisation.
Manage any follow up actions resulting from the submission or publication of the EB ESG disclosures
Act as a centre of excellence or reference point for any EB branches completing their own disclosures.
Document and maintain any relevant policies and procedures regarding the completion of the EB disclosures.

**Education/Qualifications**:
Degree Level education required.
Knowledge of Environmental, Social and Governance matters
Knowledge of the EU regulatory landscape and legislation highly desirable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong experience in Financial Services.
Experience working in a confidential environment.
Experienced in enterprise level reporting, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project
