Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Internal Communication, ESG and Branding Manager to join our dynamic team at Verisure Belgium. In this role, you will play a crucial role in driving effective internal communication, managing our organization's ESG initiatives, overseeing branding efforts, and fostering employee engagement. As a manager, you will supervise a Communication Specialist and an intern to deliver a maximum of impact to the organization. You will report directly to the Human Resources Director.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement comprehensive internal communication strategies that align with Verisure Belgium's culture and values, ensuring effective communication across all levels of the organization
- Create a strong Employer Branding strategy and ensure it lives in all our communication channels to better attract and retain our talents
- Work closely with the Communication Specialist to oversee day-to-day communication activities and provide guidance and support
- Enhance communication methods by exploring automation/AI and new tools to streamline processes and improve engagement
- Create and maintain a Communication Plan that reflects Verisure Belgium's events, milestones, and initiatives, ensuring timely and coordinated communication.
- Collect and share compelling testimonials from employees that showcase their experiences and highlight Verisure Belgium's commitment to excellence
- Follow up on employee engagement survey results, identifying areas for improvement and collaborating with HR Business Partners and managers to address challenges and promote a positive work environment
- Organize workshops, company events (Employee Day and TOP100 trip) and other engagement initiatives that align with Verisure Belgium's DNA, fostering teamwork, innovation, and fun moments
- Collect & analyze employees feedbacks related to the Employee Engagement initiatives organized during the year (Pulse survey, trip & events, workshops, internal communications)
- Provide a centralized view of the Communication Plan status and prepare regular updates for the HR Director
- Coordinate and collaborate with external agencies to organize Verisure Belgium's key events, such as the annual Employee Day and the TOP100 event, ensuring a memorable and engaging experience
- Lead and coordinate Verisure Belgium's ESG initiatives and promoting sustainability and social responsibility - with a strong focus on the “S” as we are people protecting people
- Stay updated on ESG trends and developments, providing recommendations on emerging issues and opportunities that align with Verisure Belgium's commitment to a safer and more sustainable future
- Oversee the development and execution of Verisure Belgium's branding strategies, ensuring consistency and alignment with Verisure's global branding guidelines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- **A passion for employee engagement and creating a positive work culture**.
- Proven experience in internal communication, ESG, and branding, preferably in a managerial role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive messages for diverse audiences.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with ESG principles and sustainability practices.
- Proficiency in using communication and collaboration tools.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English (must have) and French and/or Dutch - one of the two national languages is a must have, the other one is a nice to have
