**Wat houdt deze vacature in?**:
Als verzekeraar moeten we op elk moment **onze beloftes aan onze klanten kunnen waarmaken**. Daarom is het belangrijk dat we goed omgaan met onze risico’s.
Hoe meten we die risico’s best? Hoe bepalen we hoeveel risico we willen nemen? Hoe testen we of we onder druk overeind blijven? Welke impact heeft klimaatverandering op de risico’s voor KBC Verzekeringen? Een antwoord vinden op die vragen, dat is **teamwork**
- Als Insurance Risk Manager in het Group Risk team werk je samen met collega’s uit andere afdelingen en andere landen om
- **ons risicobeheer voor KBC Verzekeringen verder te verbeteren**. Verwacht je aan een enthousiast, divers team
**Wat verwachten we van jou?**:
- Je **identificeert de risico’s waar KBC Verzekeringen aan blootgesteld wordt**. Zowel huidige als toekomstige risico’s.
- Je kwantificeert hoeveel kapitaal KBC Verzekeringen nodig heeft nu, in de toekomst en in stress-scenario’s.
- Door de juiste informatie te verzamelen en die op een creatieve manier te analyseren, detecteer je risicosignalen. Die onderzoek je grondig om vervolgens **advies te geven aan business stakeholders**. Je presenteert je inzichten duidelijk en behapbaar, zodat ze hun impact niet missen.
- Je onderzoekt **hoe ons risicobeheer beter kan**, bijvoorbeeld door te experimenteren met nieuwe tools en technologieën.
- Je werkt zeer nauw samen met collega’s uit je eigen team én uit andere afdelingen, ook buitenlandse. Bijvoorbeeld met collega’s in risk-functies in de kernmarkten van KBC, collega’s in Finance, Treasury en de lokale verzekerings-entiteiten in onze kernmarkten.

- **Analyseren **is een van je absolute sterktes. Je duikt graag in grote hoeveelheden informatie, legt makkelijk verbanden en houdt ervan om inzichten te formuleren.
- Je **leert graag bij** en deelt ook graag nieuwe kennis met collega’s. Daar neem je zelf initiatief toe.
- Geen probleem voor jou om over elk risk topic in gesprek te gaan met anderen, ook het topmanagement van KBC en KBC’s supervisoren. Je** communiceert helder en overtuigend in het Engels.**:
- **Je werkt gestructureerd** en met veel drive. Zo lukt het je om deadlines te halen en ambitieuze doelen te bereiken. Voor jezelf en samen met je collega’s.
- **Je hebt een masterdiploma** actuariële wetenschappen, (toegepaste) economie, wiskunde, handelsingenieur of burgerlijk ingenieur. Ervaring met verzekeringen, Finance, Treasury of Risk is een grote meerwaarde om een vlotte start te nemen in de job, maar niet noodzakelijk. Je kan sowieso rekenen op een goede begeleiding bij je start.
