**Job Summary**:
Avantor is looking for a **Marketing Communications Specialist **to join our team in Leuven, Belgium on a part time (50%) basis.** **Looking for a role with lots of variety where you can take ownership and work with different stakeholders as well as join a collaborative, international group of colleagues? This is the one for you
The role will report to the Team Lead Marketing Communications, Region West. Working hours for this part time (50%) role will be discussed during the recruitment process.
**What we're looking for**
- ** Education**: Bachelor's Degree (Masters preferred) in Marketing, Business, Communications or Science, or equivalent experience
- ** Experience**: 3 - 5 years of experience in marketing communications, preferably in B2B product environments
- ** Language Skills**: you are fluent in Dutch, French and English, both written and spoken
- You have solid planning and coordination skills with ability to prioritize
- You have good interpersonal skills and are able to work in a matrix environment
- You have a sense of urgency but are calm under pressure
- You can work autonomously but can also engage others when needed
**How you will thrive and create an impact**
- Developing and executing local marketing communications activities and supporting the execution of central marketing communications programs to help deliver results against business objectives and priorities.
- You oversee the production and distribution of all marketing communication materials and to help build and advance product sales and the Avantor brand.
- You also support the localization of centrally managed campaigns, ensuring that channels and messaging is adapted to local audience needs and will support with tracking and monitoring campaign performance.
- You work closely with in-country sales leaders, portfolio specialists, the events and digital teams to ensure timely and accurately delivery of communications and supporting tools.
