Universal Music Belgium is looking for a Promotion Manager to join the frontline department of our company. As Promotion Manager you will create fresh and stand-out promotion campaigns for both international and domestic artists and their releases. Domestically, Universal Music Belgium has a strong & broad roster with artists such as Zwangere Guy, Stromae, Kid Noize, Angèle, Berre, Stikstof, Milo Meskens, Goose, Stan Van Samang, Coely, Novastar, Helmut Lotti, Tourist LeMC

As a Promotion Manager, you hold a pivotal position within the frontline department of the Universal Music marketing team, working with several product managers. You are responsible for promotion in Flanders for local and international artists within the Universal Music Group.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- You will report to the Marketing Director, who determines the priorities and strategy of the department
- You will generate as much free publicity as you can through radio by airplay, online content, written press, tv performances, (tv) interviews
- You work on a diverse roster of projects and artists
- You are a talented storyteller and know how to sell a project
- You look for new and original ways to promote our artists
- You achieve the targets defined in collaboration with the product managers and the marketing director
- You respond appropriately to any media enquiries and write to-the-point press releases tailored to the targeted media
- You develop and monitor the guidelines per artist in all promo communications
- You coordinate both domestic and international artists on promotion days and ensure that such a visit goes flawlessly
- You assist to concerts and festivals to coordinate the promotion

**In addition, we are looking for a person who fits the following description**:

- You are a strategic thinker who can prioritize between primary issues from secondary
- Preferably you have experience in artist promotion
- You have the necessary project management skills and know how to work efficiently
- You have a passion for music and social media
- You have a very social personality and other people give you energy
- Traditional and new media channels don’t have any secrets for you
- You have a positive mindset and you are determined
- You are a master in time management
- You are willing to constantly improve your knowledge in order to keep up with the latest developments in society and the music industry in particular
- You are fluent and creative in writing, good with research, you are a born team player
- You have a network in the business and you easily make new contacts
- You are 3-lingual Dutch, English, French
