**Communication Officer**
SQUARIS is a European consultancy specialised in EU Government Affairs and EU association management. The company is specialised in a wide range of areas (public health, road transport and security) and provides legal and strategic analysis on EU affairs as well as communication services to large organisations.
SQUARIS is looking for a Communication Officer to develop diverse communication activities. Fields of work: Public Safety, Telecommunications.
Your Tasks:
- Create, deliver, and monitor communication strategies for EU-funded projects (mainly Research & Development field)
- Manage internal (with members) and external communication for the projects or specific clients
- Maintain and assist in the creation of websites (experience in CMS such as wordpress and joomla)
- design and distribute engaging and modern communication materials (newsletters/flyers/infographics)
- Create innovative and engaging ways to involve the public and communicate project results
- Build and maintain relationships with specialised and general media
- Create social media profiles for the projects and regularly post engaging content
- Organisation and supervision of conferences at all stages (promotion, logistics, registrations, communication with different parties)
- Create small videos, editing videos
Your skills:
- Proficient in spoken and written English (C2 as per Common European Framework of Reference)
- Experience in maintaining and creating website content (experience with wordpress is a +)
- Social media/community manager (especially Linked In)
- Project management skills (Experience in working with EU projects is a +)
- Event management skills (experience is a +)
- Must be able to travel on a regular basis
- Be an excellent editor and be competent in writing papers and preparing campaigns for different communication channels
- Be multi-tasker and be hands-on
- Proven experience from 3 to 5 years
- Experience in the fields of work is a +
