Phrenos is a Brussels-based consultancy company that has been active since 2010 in the management of communication & events, as well as in the development and implementation of public affairs strategies.
We are looking for a bold and creative individual to join our communication team. Phrenos manages several projects, focusing on European issues like Agriculture, Green cities, development linked to Africa, sustainability, the role of youth in shaping policy, amongst others.
**When**: Starting as soon as possible.

**What**: Communication officer (English & French speaking - C2 level)
**What kind of person are we looking for?**
We are looking for someone who can support the communication manager in identifying and posting engaging content for our social media feeds and interact with online audiences to increase engagement and followers. If you are interested in decrypting social media analytical data to be able update clients on the status of various social media campaigns, that would be a plus.
The communication officer will contribute to drafting creative, sharp and engaging content for a community of international stakeholders. Creating and managing a wide range of communication products, handling mass mailing platforms, as well as tasks related to managing the back end of websites will also be part of their daily work. Furthermore, the communication officer will also help updating and developing EU websites on several projects.
**Your main responsibilities**
- Drafting and disseminating monthly newsletters, reports, press articles and other communication products in various languages
- Website management (incl. drafting and uploading content, creating, and updating webpages, managing different website features, etc.)
- Drafting and uploading content on various social media platforms
- Managing online community relations
- Supporting the communication manager in regard to client relations: assistance during meetings, presentations, outlining workplans, strategies, etc.
- Assisting in the live coverage of events on social media
- Producing regular reports on social media performance
- Brainstorming, drafting and co-developing cutting-edge communication strategies for our projects
