Context

Degroof Petercam is a leader in Belgium for Stock Options and Incentives Plans, serving numerous Belgian companies. Our stock options-based compensation solutions enable companies to efficiently manage employees' variable remuneration. We offer comprehensive management of financial aspects, including issuance, purchase and option valuations, structuring, tax aspects, and associated hedging.

To support our growth strategy, we are looking to strengthen our SOIP desk with a dedicated SOIP Officer.

Your Position

As a SOIP Officer, you will be an integral part of our team, handling trading, hedging, pricing, and administration of Stock Option Plans for Belgian companies. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain a deep understanding of our business while collaborating with various in-house experts.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and Follow Up: prepare stock option plans and actively follow up with the sales team.
- Launch and Liaise: Initiate stock option plans and coordinate with the pricing team.
- Client Interaction: Address inquiries from clients and beneficiaries.
- Continuous Improvement: Enhance your framework and processes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders to maintain an updated offering and platform (IT, Back Office).
- Client Support: Provide exceptional support to our clients and manage their requests. Interface with Sales and Relationship Officers.

Your Profile
- Educational Background: Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel; coding skills are a plus.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in Dutch or French with a good command of English.
- Attention to Detail: Rigorous with an eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple files and projects.
- Team Player: Collaborative and supportive team member.
- Client-Oriented: Strong client focus with a proactive, initiative-taking approach.
- Resilient and Flexible: Able to handle stress and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills and a well-developed curiosity.
