We are working with a leading client based in Belgium who is seeking Oracle Database Admins, this role is preferably Dutch speaking with one day onsite per week.
**Requirements for the role**:
Solid experience in Azure data platform administration.
Proficiency in Oracle database management.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for a non-technical audience.
Willingness to adapt and learn continuously, maximizing technical skills within the organization.
**Optional**: Experience with Oracle Engineered Systems (Exadata, ZFS) or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
**Scope of the job will be to**:
Install, upgrade, and configure Oracle database environments, ensuring optimal performance.
Collaborate with internal/external customers to meet their IT environment needs.
Demonstrate proficiency in the latest database versions, adapting to customer requirements.
Ensure service permanence and meet agreed-upon service levels through rotational support.
Proactively assess and propose improvements to IT environments, including infrastructure and capacity recommendations.
Maintain up-to-date procedures and configurations for stability and support engineering teams.
Provide expert support for incidents, minimizing disruptions for end users.
**Optional**: Guide and supervise installations of Oracle Engineered Systems (Exadata, ZFS) or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) based on customer requirements.
