**Your responsibilities**

As the Planning Manager you will effectively create and maintain an efficient production schedule that meets customer requirements while minimizing cycle times. This includes:

- You act as the deputy manager of the line & light maintenance director.
- Ensure the short
- and long-term scheduling of work according to manpower capacity.
- Ensuring all Part 145 maintenance activities are planned and prepared in due time.
- Creating and amending the bill of work in agreement with the customer and the maintenance organization.
- Making sure that the required resources are available allowing to complete maintenance activities in time. This requires close coordination & collaboration with internal departments (engineering, purchasing ) and the customers.
- Ensure preparation of tasks that must be performed during maintenance operations.
- Ensure review of the performed work and re-planning as required & in coordination with the customer.
- Analysing / Tracking reason for none-performance of tasks & resource shortfalls.
- Arranging and following the internal and external third party works.
- Lead & motivate assigned staff and secure appropriate staff level in the planning dept.
- Occasionally assure the tasks of a Maintenance Planner

**Your profile**:

- You have a Bachelor degree in Aviation (or equivalent by experience)
- Minimum of 3 years aircraft maintenance experience in production, planning or engineering functions
- Good knowledge of the EASA Part 145 regulations
- Be familiar with aviation maintenance ERP system(s). AMOS knowledge of advantage
- On top of that you are customer oriented and show good negotiating skills.
- You are fluent in English. Dutch and French are an asset.
- You are a people manager who thinks out-of-the box and show good organizational and analytical skills as well.
- Problem solver is your middle name
